Wow, I'm really awful at updating, aren't I? Long story short: We had a beautiful baby girl last April (good heavens, she's almost a year?!), who is growing like a weed. We still haven't figured out that whole "sleeping through the night" thing, but eh. I'm a stay at home mom now, which is awesome! I was let go from my seasonal job a month early, which really hurt, but we've made it work. Nick's still doing well. He hasn't been seriously ill since his hospital stay in '09, thank the gods. We both had really bad flashbacks when I went to the hospital for Kitten's birth. :( I'm starting to do more crafts, which is a lot of fun- I'm getting

Again, it's been about a year since my last update, so it's time for a new one. Life is much, MUCH better this year! Nick recovered just fine, though he lost seventy-five pounds of muscle while he was in the hospital. He went into the ER on October 13, 2009 and hobbled out a free man on November 13, 2009. Yes, an entire month in the hospital, three weeks of which were in ICU under 24 hour observation, two of which were spent in a coma and on a ventilator to keep him alive. I haven't updated my journal in more than a year, so I think it's high time I did. Last Christmas, I said yes to the one question I most wanted to hear. In March, we realized we were pregnant. Surprising to be sure, but we were very happy and ready for a baby. In April, we lost the baby. We were married in July, in a beautiful ceremony that was absolutely perfect. We both cried and laughed and partied and had a wonderful time. It was wonderful. Last week, I took my husband to the ER. He had swine flu and pneumonia. He's been in the intensive care unit this whole last week and will continue to be there for at least another seven days. He
